Questions About Infrared Saunas
Infrared saunas use carbon or ceramic heating panels to emit radiant heat that warms your body directly rather than heating the surrounding air the way a traditional steam sauna does. This means infrared units typically operate at lower ambient temperatures while still delivering deep, consistent warmth — making sessions feel more comfortable and manageable for longer periods. The result is a more accessible at-home experience without the need for water or steam-generating equipment.
Most home infrared saunas are designed with residential spaces in mind and require only a modest footprint — a dedicated corner, spare room, or covered indoor area with access to an appropriate electrical outlet. Our 2-person units are compact enough for smaller spaces, while our 3-4 person corner models are built for larger rooms where you want a more immersive setup. We recommend measuring your available space and reviewing each product's listed dimensions before purchasing.
Some units, particularly larger models, operate on 220V and will require a compatible outlet — standard in many modern homes but worth confirming before your sauna arrives. Smaller 2-person units often run on standard household current with a dedicated circuit. We recommend consulting a qualified electrician to verify your home's electrical setup is ready before your sauna is delivered.
Infrared saunas ship free on most orders within the Continental U.S. — please note this excludes Alaska and Hawaii. If for any reason you need to return your sauna, our 30-Day Return Policy applies — visit our Return Policy page for full details on the process and eligibility requirements.
About Our Infrared Saunas
An infrared sauna is a wood-paneled enclosure fitted with low-EMF infrared heating panels that emit radiant warmth designed to penetrate deeply and create a sustained, enveloping heat experience — all within the comfort of your own home. Unlike traditional steam rooms, infrared models operate efficiently at lower air temperatures, making them approachable for a wide range of people and lifestyles. They are built for anyone who wants a dedicated space to decompress, reset after a demanding day, and maintain a consistent personal wellness ritual without leaving home. When choosing an infrared sauna, consider the number of occupants, available room dimensions, electrical requirements, and the quality of materials used in construction — particularly wood species, panel type, and EMF rating. Features such as chromotherapy lighting, Bluetooth audio integration, and smart app controls add layers of comfort and convenience that make daily use feel effortless. A well-chosen infrared sauna becomes one of the most personal and consistently used spaces in a home — the room you return to every time you need to slow down and recharge.
